What a true lover he was! He sacrificed his life for his love.. In fact, both of them sacrificed their lives for each other.. I don’t know whether he was better than Miya Tansen or not but he defeated him on one occassion which shows that he was better than Miya Tansen.. But, it is still believed that no one is better than Miya Tansen as he was a true master of Music.. Miya Tansen is more popular and renowned than Baiju Bawra probably because he used to sing at the court of Akbar and was considered one of the nine jewels.. He defeated him and fulfilled the promise given to his father. Baiju was very kind hearted and that’s why he did not kill Tansen after defeating him… Unfortunately, he did not live long as he was deeply in love with Gowri.. But, till today, no one is said to be better than Miya Tansen but Baiju Bawra was no less than him either.. …Decide it for yourself……………………
